Run Three: 5 Minute Run, 1 Minute Walk

This view makes it worth it...
Or does it?
The 'what are we doing at 8am' faces
Running past this place first thing in the morning is painful
Excuse the slightly hairy legs…my first injury!
Run Number Three!
This morning we upped the ante. Leaving the house at just gone 8am, we walked for less time towards Hampstead Heath (about 6 minutes) and then started running at a rate of 5 minutes with 1 minute recovery time. We repeated this 6 times, which I didn't think I would be able to do. I definitely felt more tired after this run than I did on Tuesday!

I have a recurring injury. I am not entirely sure how you can stop yourself from kicking your ankle when running, I have done this several times now, maybe I need some higher socks? I don't know if this a reflection of my running style and something I need to improve.

In other news, my running partner, Jon, got tripped over by an English Bulldog on the Heath. New threat to runners: big dogs with places to be!

My next run will be on Sunday, the aim is: 6 mins run and 1 min walk.
