Run Twenty-Two: 40 Minutes!

40 minutes and a bit...
Post-run smoothie 
So, we didn't get to do the parkrun on Saturday because it just would not stop raining, grr. Instead we got up early on Sunday to do our scheduled 40 minute run! This is only my second 40 minute run and it is the longest I have ever run for. It felt as gruelling as last time. We ran to Finchley Park and back and both felt exhausted when we got home. A banana and cinnamon post-run smoothie seemed to do the trick and we both agreed we felt a lot more alert and ready to face the day from doing it. 

Next run: 25 minute easy jog on Tuesday
