I have started tapering for the marathon! This means doing a succession of short runs (3-5 miles) during the last 7 day run up to the marathon.
This, quite scarily, means I only have 7 DAYS until I run 26.2 miles for Macmillan Cancer Support at the 2015 London Marathon - this seems to have come round really quickly!
I have been training for months so definitely feel ready.
This week I will do a 5 mile run on Tuesday and a 3 mile run on Thursday as part of my tapering routine and then the big day, yikes!
