Run Thirty-Three: 8 miles or so...

Regent's Park in the Sun!!
Half of our run...

We ran home as well, promise!!

Happy March!

This time in 8 weeks I will hopefully be hobbling around London having just finished the London Marathon. That's the plan anyway.

Today, Jon and I woke up to the sun shining through our bedroom window. After the miserable rainy day yesterday we took it as a sign to go for a run.
We decided to run to Euston, through Regent's Park and then back home through Camden and Kentish Town. As per, I used my trusty runkeeper app but I tried taking a photograph in Regent's Park and unbeknown to me, the app stopped working... So here is a map of half of our run, half the calories burned and half the miles travelled. I am sure you can figure out the rest.

The run was quite a toughy although the sun definitely helped spur us on. I was able to run wearing just a t-shirt, which I haven't done since I started running a few months ago.
As my long run last week was so tough, I decided today to carry around some food (sort of). In my little bumbag I carried one of the Ella's Kitchen organic apple puree (the stuff for babies...), I actually thought it was quite effective eating something full of natural sugars rather than sweets. It also comes in a really handy (baby proof) bottle which is great for eating whilst on the move.

This week I am going to try running back from Uni, which is about 4 miles, and I think will make a great short mid-week run.
