Run Thirty-Four: Running home with a backpack...

Camden Canal
Camden!
Shattered!
Kentish Town!
During the week I bravely (stupidly) decided to run back from my University on the Strand... Now, that is not the furthest I have ever run but I have never attempted to run with a rucksack full of my personal belongings (jogging to catch the bus does not count)
Safe to say, this was a particularly difficult run. It was peak time in London so I was forced to dodge people pretty much all the way home and had to stop every few metres to cross the road. The run was about 4.5 miles and should have taken me around 50 minutes but it took me well over an hour because I had to keep stopping / jumping over various obstacles. I did, however, feel a huge sense of accomplishment when I got home. If 6 months ago you'd have told me I could run from my University in the very centre of London all the way home I would have probably laughed in your face but I actually did it, yippee!
