Run Thirty-One: 90 minutes...with Sherlock

Filming Sherlock!!
Baker Street

Run to Sherlock!

Run Thirty-One

This was a slightly unconventional run.
I was told by my housemate that Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman were filming Sherlock today near Euston station so Jon and I decided to use that as an excuse to run there...sad I know.
It took us about 40 minutes to run to North Gower Street (or Baker Street for the sake of filming) and the run was fantastic. The sun was shining and we felt absolutely great. The second half, post-Sherlock, was not so good. After standing in the cold for nearly an hour hoping to catch a glimpse of Cumberbatch we had to run back. We ran through Regents Park and Camden, perhaps making it through to another 30 minutes, before deciding we really could not run any further. Standing in the cold for so long had completely frozen our legs, we were in so much pain that we had to walk the rest of the journey home. How pathetic is that...

We have made a pact that we will try and make up for it during the week.
